First we visited Mektory - a TUT Innovation and Business Centre, whose aim is to promote engineering and use of modern technology at schools. We got acquainted with the possibilities of Samsung Digital Academy, learnt the basics of wordpress.com and practiced 3D- modelling.
The day continued in Viimsi SPA, where we listened to the colleagues from Aravete Secondary School, who had also had an EEA/ Norway grant project. Their partners were from Norway and the project was about healthy lifestyle. It was very inspiring, especially as we were able to practice healthy lifestyle in the spa right after the introduction.
On August 23rd we had another guest - Tallinna Tehnikagümnaasium - from the EEA/Norway grant programme. Maie Tibar introduced their project Science into Reality and again we had to admit that it is always interesting to hear what is done in other schools.
Raimo gave a short overview of a summer seminar on global education and showed some teaching materials
Finally we had brainstorming on how to organise dissemination events for the project and we gave a helping hand to Rutt in organising a hiking day for the whole school, using some smart devices!
