Nutiklubi - November 18th

We got acquainted with an interactive presentation tool called mentimeter.com

Kuldar taught us some new simple tools
tlk.io is a very esily usable web chat tool. No login required
awwapp.com - a tool for cooperative image creation and editing - caused a lot of excitement and fun among teachers. We started to wonder -  if already teachers were so crazy playing with this tool - what would he students do?! We have to find out:-)
Last but not least - we learnt to use snippingtool, which comes with Windows 7, 10 etc. Very useful!

Calendars

As a dissemination product we decided to compile a calendar for the year 2017 with the photos of the mobilities, showing some sights from both countries as well as participating people. There is an overview of the project - its aims and outcomes - and also some of the internet links that can be used in teaching.
In addition we ordered memory sticks and  battery charger banks with EEA/Norway Grants logos, which are necessary gadgets for all teachers.
All three can be used as gifts, prizes or memorabilia related to the TESIC project.

Nutiklubi - regular meetings of teachers to be continued after the end of the project

The TESIC project has been really inspiring for the teachers of Kadrina Keskkool and as the teachers wanted to continue cooperation and workshops on ICT

Meeting in Kadrina Library

On October 20th the TESIC teachers together with Kadrina Literary Club organised a meeting in Kadrina library. It had two aims.
Firstly, to introduce the project and its outcomes, but also Iceland, its nature and educational system  to the local community. There was also a display of Icelandic literature and books about Iceland.

School environment changes.

New bins and advertisment columns in cooperation with HAKA Plast have been placed inside the schoolhouse.
The school facade also got new looks.
Bicycle and car parking lot are being constructed.
