Environmental survey
The first step for the Estonian team was to conduct an environmental survey. There was a team of .... teachers with Hegi at the head.
Both the Estonian and the Icelandic teachers assess the statements, analyse the current situation and at the next meeting in May discuss the problematic issues and try to find solutions to them.
Here are the questionnaires on 11 different topics.

On November 2nd 5 teachers from Kadrina Secondary School ( Kirsti , Raimo, Hegi, Merike, Arvo with his wife Imbi), Kaire and Erich from Kadrina Municipality packed their suitcases and set on the first meeting in Iceland. The Icelandic teachers had prepared a wonderful programme for us - look at the pamphlet Asdis made for us!

Application approved! - May
On May 29th we got the good news - our project had been accepted! However, there were a lot of proposals and recommendations for improvement, which took us almost the whole summer. Finally, in late August, everything was polished enough to please the experts and we signed the contract.

Preparatory meeting - March
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Preparatory meeting in Kadrina, March 3rd-7th, 2014
http://eeagrants.archimedes.ee/
Asdis and Diddi came to a preparatory meeting, where we planned the future project in a team of 5 ( also Kaire, Hegi and Merike) We had lots of discussions in order to find the common ground and issues that would interest both parts. After 3 days of hard work we were ready and called the project :
"TESIC (teachers of Estonia and Iceland)- Improving Skills to Face the Challenges of the 21st Century"
